I know a while ago I said that I'd try to post on here more... my free time isn't what it was like in the good old days of being able to find more stuff to post each month. I ran across this little gem tonight, though, and just HAD to post it.

Now, this dude doesn't say a single word, just lots of la-la-las and da-da-das. But it's painfully obvious that he's lip syncing... to a song with no words... and I doubt he's even the original singer, because the way he moves his mouth is not even close to what the singer is saying. So they must have just found some guy who they thought people would watch for 2 and a half minutes sing basically nothing. It's hilarious, though, trust me.

MacGruber Pepsi Ads

These are skits that SNL does every once in a while based on MacGyver. It's actually pretty funny that we were watching The Biggest Loser tonight and cringed while they shoe-horned a very blatant ad into the show for Cheerios.

Literal Interpretation of "Take On Me"

Not only is it fun to watch an old-school 80's music video, but the lyrics have been modified to be more relevant to the "story". I love the part in the middle where there's no singing, so they added the dialogue for the waitress. It just reminds me of when I was younger I'd watch TV with my friend and we'd turn off the volume so we could make up our own dialogue. Hilarious.

Dancing With The Star Wars Stars

So, this is from an OFFICIAL Star Wars event that's hosted at Disney World each year. I'd think that something involving all these characters at an official event would have to have been sanctioned by George Lucas himself. I mean, doesn't he want to protect the integrity of Darth Vader??? When he makes his entrance I literally laughed out loud. I can just imagine that he'd have some storm troopers do this with him on lonely Saturday nights when he's visited the cantina on Tatooine and had a little too much "space juice".

White & Nerdy

I can't believe I haven't posted this video before now. I'm sure most of you have seen it, but I ran across it again today and had to add it right away. Donny Osmond is the highlight, in my opinion. There's also a great reference in the video to the Star Wars Christmas Special.

I Love You, Brother

If you have no idea what this is, you're obviously not an American Idol watcher. If you're interested to see what it came from, though, here's a link to the original audition and also his reappearance at the American Idol finale (complete with a full marching band).

This video doesn't actually feature the original guy, but a band who put together a MUCH better version of his cheesy song, and made an even cheesier video to go along with it.

Just stick with it at least until 1:25. That part alone makes this worth watching.

Lego Thriller

This is a Lego version of the Michael Jackson video, Thriller. (If you haven't seen the original, it's a classic. Check it out.)

All I can say is that someone had LOTS of free time to do this. This is actually the SHORT version of the video, cut down to where it actually gets more entertaining. The original is over 10 minutes long and is shot for shot the entire Thriller video made out of Lego people.

The Star Wars Christmas

So a while ago I was introduced to the Star Wars Christmas Special. Apparently back in the 70's when Star Wars first came out, it was such a huge success that they had to capitalize on it in every way that they could. First they made a Christmas Special, which is one of the cheesiest things I've ever seen. Here it is, condensed from 2 hours to just 5 minutes (listen for the Wilhelm scream, it's in there!):

So like I said, that had to be one of the cheesiest things I've ever come across... until yesterday.
